Recently, Aeroseal announced the HVAC industry’s first “Meet Code the First Time” Guarantee. However, it’s more than just a guarantee. It’s part of an unprecedented new construction program to help contractors overcome code requirements for airtight ducts that’s easier and more cost-effective than hand sealing (e.g. mastic, tape).
Since celebrating the 20th anniversary of Aeroseal duct sealing in 2017 and launching the All-New HomeSeal Connect in 2018, Aeroseal just made another big, bold move in the HVAC industry. It’s another game-changer for residential new construction.
Along with the “Meet Code the First Time” Guarantee, Aeroseal now offers contractors a special residential new construction (RNC) program. Here are the RNC program details:
- Dedicated RNC System Packages: Custom packages available from starter system packages up to turnkey, self-contained Mobile Pro trailer systems
- New, Easy-to-Pay Purchasing Options: Dedicated RNC pricing packages and special financing packages are available so you can start making money before you start paying for the system
- QuickStart Rebate Program: Rebate program based on number of seals completed. Rebates start as few as 50 homes and 100% of rebate earned at 200 homes

Save Energy with Duct Sealing
The impact of duct sealing in residential new construction is increasing too. Earlier this year, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) revealed new figures indicating significant energy savings from duct sealing in homes, and Aeroseal is a big player.
Furthermore, both contractors AND builders continue to see great success using Aeroseal to seal ducts in new homes. Together, we are building healthier, super-efficient homes nationwide.
We’ve heard many stories about contractors and builders that used hand sealing to meet new construction codes for airtight ducts then switched to Aeroseal. It is a proven choice for residential new construction. Here’s a cool story from one of our dealers:
Long story short, one home was sealed using mastic/tape. The other home was sealed using Aeroseal.
The two homes had identical specs: 2-story, 2850 sq. ft., 17 supply registers, 10 return, metal duct work, 100,000 BTU gas furnace system (90%), 4-ton AC system. Furthermore, the homes’ code requirements for duct tightness were the same too: 2012 IECC-4 cfm/100 sq. (114 CFM).
Aeroseal won hands-down! The results of the new construction sealing for each home are shown below:
|Metrics||Home #1 (Mastic/Tape)||Home #2 (Aeroseal)|
|Man-Hours||45 (3 people, 1.5 days)||8 (2 people, 0.5 day)|
|Results||124 CFM||21 CFM|
|Pass Test / Meet Target||NO||YES|
